Blake Shelton (born June 18, 1976) is an American country music artist. In 2001, he made his debut with the single Austin; released as the lead-off single from his self-titled debut album. The song went on to spend five weeks at #1 on the Billboard Hot Country Songs charts. He is currently a vocal coach on the NBC reality talent show The Voice with Adam Levine, Christina Aguilera, and Cee Lo Green.

Overall, Shelton has charted 17 singles on the country charts, including ten #1 hits: Austin (2001), The Baby (2003), Some Beach (2004–2005), Home (2008), She Wouldn't Be Gone (2009), Hillbilly Bone (2010), All About Tonight (2010), Who Are You When I'm Not Looking (2011), Honey Bee (2011), and God Gave Me You (2011) . Additionally, three more of his singles have reached the Top Ten: a cover version of Conway Twitty's Goodbye Time, Nobody but Me, and I'll Just Hold On.

. I may be more of a fan of his wife & only know a few of his singles, but I'd still post on a board for him. Plus he is funny & I did enjoy him on The Voice

I hadn't really heard of him until I watched The Voice, and then.. I fell in love with him. And then stated to listen to his songs.. I quite like Honey bee.

I'd heard of him, just on the country music channel here, years ago (the song "The Baby" would have been the first song I heard). Didn't really know his name or pay attention to him until the past year or so though

The Voice only helped me fall in love with him more. Anyone who has both a serious and funny side, and can sing, definitely gets my attention. I have appreciated a few of his songs for a while, but fell in love with most of his past few singles

I think you have to be willing to take a bullet for somebody if you’re going to stand up there, take your vows, and be married to them for the rest of your life.”

On being the lone country voice on a panel of pop stars: “I remember sitting in this room and everyone [Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green, & Adam Levine] was talking and laughing. I felt a little like the black sheep. It wasn’t until…about three days into production, when it was just the four of us sitting down together, that we clicked. It forced us to move out of our comfort zones. All of a sudden I was having conversations with people I had only read about in tabloids, and they’re just normal people. And they know who I am, and that I [was] getting married to Miranda, and they know who she is. It was surreal.”

The issue hits newsstands on Tuesday (January 17).
