Yeah Betsybelle he is a hard actor to watch if you don't like violent films I think the only one I have ever seen with him that doesn't have any is Full Monty watched Face the other day that is very violent


Actually, Bobby does a lot of indie sort of films where he plays ordinary joe's so it's not that hard to find them, it's just that I'm VERY squeamish, lol

Next Saturday night/evening then? Midnight GMT? I think that's about 6 or 7 Central...

I don't think he's in it a great deal, but it's one of the films that gets a little over looked.

I am up to about episode 14 of season 1 Rush keeps trying to over take Rumple as my favourite Character Robert has played, I have no idea why I have never heard of this series before

Not sure why Robert doesn't get any more love than this, he is such an underrated actor! I love him to pieces in OUAT and frankly in most other things he appears in :lol:

He's a wonderful actor, but he doesn't do much big budget stuff. His TV work is usually more high profile than his film work (er, Bond villainy aside that is... ;)), so unfortunately unless you're a fan of the shows, people generally don't see him.

In Hamish and Full Monty, in his early 30's, he looked SO boyish. Now, he looks like a real man with those sexy gray streaks and his noble face.

I just flip out over his long hair - and I normally HATE long hair on men. To me, his look is utterly unique........

He really is a magnificent actor who is capable of doing anything. Interestingly, in a recent interview, he said that he is sorry that he hasn't gotten more scripts for comedic roles as he thinks he has a natural inclination for that. I can see that -and I wish we could see that on ONCE, with Belle. They share such a quirky humor and it would be lovely to see Gold so relaxed and funny. Bobby would undoubtedly make me crack up,lol

Robert is an amazing actor. That's all I can say.. :D

Yeah, i guess that could be the reason, it's just such a shame :shrug:

It is a shame.

But I think it's also partly his choice. He likes to act, he doesn't like the media circus that goes with the high profile stuff. I think he'd take work like that if he thought it was worth it (see The World Is Not Enough for reference), but he values his private life staying private.

I think it's true. For all the fame your private life gets ripped apart. I think he chose wisely. Doing what he wants, acting , but keeping his life real.
