It's so hard to talk about a show when you've only seen so much footage. lol

Anyone here a baseball fan? I'm not a sports fan in general, though I really enjoy the Olympics, but I love sports films. lol

I'm a big baseball fan. At least for my home team. A lot of people don't find it interesting because games can drag, but I find it fun seeing when games are back-and-forth (although those are stressful and sometimes I like blowout games... if my teams wins).

It definitely is difficult to discuss the show at the moment, though.

Although I have some ideas for the board and what threads we'd need.

Yeah, the month will be here before we know it! Thankfully! lol Those are good sport films. Disney does some of the best feel good sports films.

First Impression: Kylie Bunbury is Ginny Baker, the first female pitcher to be called up to the major leagues. The pressure is enormous, from her agent (Ali Larter), the team captain (Mark-Paul Gosselaar) and her father (Michael Beach). Everyone is waiting for her to break. With a major political party nominating a woman for the race for president, it still sounds more amazing to imagine a female pitcher in the majors. Is there anything more American than Baseball? For all the men who have played, all the team turnover everything that has happened, it's a man's sport. I'm not a cry in your soup women's rights kinda gal, but there is just something so magical about this story, and trust me, it's not a bed of roses for Kylie. That's part of the beauty of what's being told. Should You Watch: Yes. One hundred times yes. I didn't want to watch it, but it was one of my favorites. At this particular time in our nation's history, everyone should watch it. It's a beautiful story of emotional strength, physical prowess, acceptance and proving you belong. Watch it with your family. Just watch.
