He did Simon ruined a lot of the J&C scenes and he did saved them a lot especially with the Greater Demon.

yeah ...but despite that I always forgive him because he's a good friend to Clary, he isn't selfish...he lets Clary be happy with the one she truly loves and he's always looking out for her. Plus, his moments with Jace are almost always funny.. I just love their banter and I know deep down they didn't really hate each other.

Simon is definitely a good friend. I love when he defends Clary in front of Isabelle.

Yeah, I really don't Simon and Jace hate each other. They like pretending to just to stir up Clary, since they both know how much it annoys her that they don't get along.
