I will be away on vacation as of tomorrow, but will check in for Campaign threads. Don't want any of the ones I'm on to go without posts. Especially my ADOW one as I'm literally the only person on it most times.

that... and I'm mostly posting from phone, ahich means that I only post regularly at the ncis board on difficult days - and check the 2 Request threads I care about...
... Next week I may decide to rewatch ROP without any skipping... And I'm working my way through finishing The two towers book (again) - the Frodo, Sam & Gollum portion always takes me longer to finish... But I'm only 2 chapters short from finishing the book, and returning to Rohan & Gondor in the last book... ... What I'm realizing is that Faramir in the books had so much more character, or different character - as the two towers movie decided to take a different aproach in order to get Sam, Frodo & Gollum further south to meet the timeline, and to fit everything to the movie... __________________

I didn't like the changes in the movie with regard to Faramir. They changed his character a lot at the beginning.

I second that... it would have been wonderful to see more of them together in the 3rd movie...
... I get what they did with Faramir - they mixed the what if portion of the ring's power, with starting to paint the picture of Denethor (& his madness) for the last film... But at least in the 3rd movie they made it clear that Faramir was a completely different kind of person than his father, or brother were (became by the end)... __________________
