He's on a horse in Into the Woods, too, isn't he? His character in ITW is pretty significant, but it's also not one of my favorite characters he's done... I had never seen the original musical, either, and had high hopes for him in this movie (especially since he does sing!), but was disappointed in the character. I would say watch it at least once, but besides Chris singing & looking good, it's not that great, Chris wise.

I am pretty sure he's reprising his role as Kirk! On IMDb, it's listed as "Untitled Star Trek Sequel" under his name, so I'm sure he'll be doing it.
