That would be awesome BUT not sure cause he was already in one as a main notable villain

I honestly am the same I think am against R rated even if it worked out for Deadpool|Logan I remember thinking Logan didn't need to be BUT it worked very well for the film|story
I just don't think R Rated and Star Trek mix I couldn't fathom anything within the lore or even new that could make R rated work for Star Trek Tarantanio himself I've seen some of his works over the years - he's an out there director he's done great work but he's unique - I could say? __________________

Yeah, I feel the same about R-ratings. Just to make a movie with blood & guts to get an R-rating...
I was hoping JJ would be directing again! |

The examples of the Marvel ones pretty much need R-Rated Deadpool to be done right had to be and than once seeing Logan understood why it made sense to be R-Rated
I just don't see any real reason anything outside of comicbook adaptions need to be R-Rated maybe some fantasy|historical but ST or even SW don't need R-Rated __________________

Star Trek The Motion Picture Opened 38 Years Ago Today [December 7th]
PATRICK STEWART SAYS HE’D RETURN FOR QUENTIN TARANTINO’S STAR TREK MOVIE ^ Even this doesn't have me excited - not passing judgement cause usually don't judge a book by its cover and wait for trailers [Han Solo example] BUT I still don't see this as being a good thing Tarantino is a well respected and decorated film maker and I've enjoyed his work BUT just don't feel he's right for ST especially if R-Rated __________________

Unless he's mellowed over the years haven't seen much lately from him but have seen some of his earlier pieces and he's got an unique style to say the least
