So true. As you know, I was so upset over that. It may seem trivial to some but I'm a doggo parent and dogs mean so much to me.
 In that scene alone, Jon was back to being his true self because S1-S7 Jon would pet Ghost. He loves that boy.     + ^ That 1st gif and the nudge. Ghost was probably like "You didn't give me a proper goodbye but I forgive you anyway."  __________________

 I'm also a dog person, and after being his pet for so long and helping him and his friends, Ghost didn't deserve that cold brush off he got.But dogs are loyal and I totally see him just being happy to see Jon again just like you put it  __________________

Ghost is pretty damn lucky to survive a wight & WW attack. Too bad we didn't get any reunion with Nymeria though but I also wasn't expecting it.

I was expecting that... when they showed us Nymeria last seasons I got hopeful that we would've seen her again in the final season
 I LOVE that Ghost at least remained by Jon's side till the end. I love those direwolves so much and it would be sad if all of them had died __________________

Ghost & Nymeria are the direwolf MVPs.
I'd like to believe Arya & Nymeria reunited somewhere and they lived together too. This entire gifset makes me cry. OMG. However far he prowled, Ghost ALWAYS came back. __________________

It's true that Ghost always comes back, wherever he is. Thank goodness Jon did the right thing for Ghost in the end.
