It's something I'd expect a fan to write about but not exactly be seen on the show so yeah...S8 was bad.

Yeah, I wouldn't expect professional writers to have done that. Some fanfic writers do amazing jobs developing their story, but what was delivered to us in season 8 (and season 7) was very amateur like
