I imagine that with a show like GOT we weren't very hopeful for a very happy ending... but still, we would've been okay with tragic ending as long as the story was well written/told

Exactly. I was actually prepared for the worst with Jon (like dying again) and while I was overall fine with what happened to him, I feel like things were super rushed like his relationship with Dany.

 I keep saying, that overall I think the essence of what happened with the characters could've had provided for a good ending, the problem was how it was done/shown __________________

Yes execution.
The other seasons were okay and I can't help but think the show works well with 10 eps per season. Then maybe those last 2 seasons would've been better.  __________________

I agree with you. 3 seasons with 10 eps each. That would give ample time for all of their SLs to make sense.

I don't know exactly what he is doing, but I also think he would be willing to come back as Tormund as well.
To be honest if I was going to bet on something, I would say that Kit would be the hardest one to get onboard. But now, I'm all hopeful  __________________
