I don't think WB even cares about making good DCEU movies and they certainly don't care about the fans. The DC universe has so much potential and so many great characters that all deserve their own movies and their own stories to be told, but I don't think WB knows how to do them justice, either that or they just don't care. I'm actually more of a DC fan, I've always liked the DC characters more than the Marvel characters, so as a DC fan it really upsets me how horrible WB is handling the DCEU, they are completely wasting so much great potential from such an iconic franchise like DC. This is why I wish DC wasn't owned by WB. I would not want Disney to own DC either, because I think Disney would try to turn the DCEU movies into just copies of the Marvel movies. And I've always found the MCU movies to be a bit too colourful and cartoonish and kiddish for my liking, which is understandable because I think they're trying to make the MCU movies more family-friendly. But I've always preferred the darker, more grittier, deeper and more mature tone of the DCEU movies. I think other studios like Paramount and Sony would be more accepting of keeping the DCEU more darker.

I've always been disappointed how they introduced a new Superman series with Man of Steel then just threw him and his franchise under the bus for a quickie shared universe. MOS was the first Superman film I saw (but thankfully saw the Christopher Reeve films later) and I was interested in seeing his journey and growth since he was still trying to figure out being Superman. Instead they just killed him off in two seconds, had everyone love him overnight, brought him back, then *crickets* There wasn't and never will be any resolution to his story (or lack there of) They handled it so sloppily and it could of been a great series IMO. He should of at least had closure (Which is another thing I feel the MCU has handled perfectly) everything about the botched MOS films and the entire DCU is just sporadic and all over the place, there's no order. There are a few films I like but as a whole, I still don't know what the hell is going on or what the overall narrative is. Then again, neither does the WB lol. Their clearly just throwing anything at the wall to see what sticks and winging it.

Agree with you both.

Personally I just hope with the upcoming movies the DCEU will finally become betrer overall. It has a lot of potential after all.
