They were friends who had that bantering between them.

They had explored more of that other bothersome pairing SMWW, which was so out of character and didn't belong.

Superman and Wonder Woman was the worst idea ever. I still am bitter about that choice tbh.

yeah, i never understood that. Clark always had a thing for Lois, and Clark is loyal to a fault, old-school values. Diana and Bruce are much better suited to each other, because of the isolation and and lone wolf aspects, but also the yin and yang of opposites, the immortal and human, supergoddess and strong human...opposites attract. against his cynical darkness and soul-sucking vortex of personal tragedy, she brings the blinding sunlight of idealism, positivity, and battle-hardened experience of confidence and victory. Diana brings the WIN!!!

Well unfortunately it did.
Thankfully it recently ended. Clark is back to himself. Lois is his soulmate.
