can't they just delay ST4 until 2020 or so, until all the cast is available? it's not like millions of fans want ST4 now like say the billions of fans who want [untitled?!] Avengers 4 like yesterday!!! smh.

I hadn't heard about Outlaw King yet! I wonder what it's about.

I'm not surprised about Star Trek, unfortunately. The last movie didn't do well for the studio money wise, and money matters most.

they should shelve ST4 for a couple years, let schedules open up, and see if there is fan interest at that point. i still have interest in the ST series, but i'd rather have quality down the road sometime, than some haphazard rushed film that flops in the theaters because of lack of interest.

I agree. I also don't think ST3 did overly well at the box office, so I think they should try to build hype around the next one for awhile.
