Joaquin did an amazing job.
But this movie was a bit of a letdown for me. Just on some things though.

Is this at all like the comics? Jw.

Finally watched it, I thought it was a well done film. JP's performance was great, it's just also a sad, draining movie. So I doubt if I rewatch it much. I just wonder which parts were real and which were a figment of Arthur's imagination. After watching it, I still don't get how a possible sequel would work. This is better as just a one off, not a series IMO.

Yeah that's what I was confused about. Which parts were real.. like did he actually follow her and she just didn't notice so she never came to his apartment? Was the scene in the elevator with them real or in his mind?

Yeah, it's obvious all the parts where they were together and went out was in his head but I do think the elevator scene where they first met was real. Who knows though, so much is ambiguous lol.

Well if the elevator scene was real, was the part where he put his hand to his head like a gun real? Cuz if so, why did she act surprised/scared when he did it before in her apartment?
It's all so confusing

I don't know, maybe she thought he was implying he would hurt her and her daughter. I just feel that scene and her being friendly towards him is what made him like her and start to fantasize they were together. There are so many blurred lines in this movie.
