Trench could be nice for horror movie fans, but aren't there more important characters that dc/wb should focus on? Like superman, flash, cyborg, maybe green lantern. THis sounds like the kind of niche film you do when the dceu already is super successful, not realyl when you try to rebuild it.

I love seeing the cast together at conventions, they seem to get along so well. I'm surprised they're going through with The Trench movie so soon, especially with other movies on the roster. I bet it'll be interesting and great though, expanding out the cinematic Aquaman lore.

A part of me feels like they're up in the air about what's next to be in development and that when James offered to do The Trench movie with a full vision and idea in mind, especially with the success of Aquaman, they told them he could.

That's just a theory though, I could be wrong.
