glad to be back, it is much warmer here in Virginia. it was -7 below zero in Ohio where i was visiting family, with a -26 wind chill. brrrrr. it was also very cold in Pennsylvania where i visited family on the way back. we had about a foot of snow in Ohio, but up to three foot drifts and high winds, lots of ice in both OH and PA. yikes.

my family lives in Mansfield, Ashland, and Berlin. cousins, two aunts, brother, sister-in law, four nieces, and a nephew. some of my family are former Amish turned Mennonite, not me though, never been religious. i do like visiting them in Berlin, though. love the cheese and homemade foods. huge fan of the Planktown Amish foods store in Shiloh. it was -7 below zero with a wind chill of -26     __________________

big families can be great on holidays, but truthfully i mostly visit to see all my nieces, nephew, and cousins. they are great, even when they are being bratty lol. most of my family adults, ugh too much drama and negativity. no thanks you can keep it. i know most of the kids are high-tailing it outta there as soon as they graduate high school, don't blame them one bit. a couple of the older ones are already in college and only returning at the holiday, and barely. __________________
