FF4 was basically a walk of vengeance for Dom, to find out who killed Letty and take them out, and a way for the FF franchise to come back from the mess of 3, while F8 is more a way of moving beyond the tragic death of PW, and the gang dealing with an all-powerful hacker/arms dealer who basically destroys their comfort zone and lives by seemingly turning Dom against the gang through leverage from his past, without giving away the plot for those who haven't seen F8. there is enough left unfinished at the end of F8, to justify another film at least, and the group still has some gas left in the tank, but they really need to find another character who can be matched against Dom, as all the other characters are support players within the group. the FF films always worked because of the core Fab 4, Dom and Brian, Letty and Mia, but with Brian and Mia gone from the films for the obvious reasons, there are some missing elements of the series chemistry and appeal. i liked F8, but you could tell there was something missing, all through the film, actually even at times in FF7.

i just watched FF1 and 2 on Saturday, the original is still badass great, but 2 is quite annoying at times and no Dom, Letty, and Mia detracts from it's FF value. i can't stand 3 ugh.

she really does steal every scene shes in  she "works for the bad guy" but reality she turns around and like said nothing truly criminal she does herself other than steal every scene Quote:
