It's great to see someone whose face and body deviate from the norm a bit for a change. And she's above standard actress for tv imo (then again, I watch a lot of trash tv with horrid acting).

I think she is different in her face yes but that's what makes her difference.
No she isn't the most beautiful actress on this planet but I don't think that should always be a factor for actresses.. I think she's perfect for this role because of that.. she's just like any of us

I’ve been asked what the hardest scene to shoot on the show was, and it's this one from episode 10. Physically challenging because I kept throwing myself around this car trying to get out, and emotionally challenging cuz...well you know. It was also probably one of the most fun because it's my favorite kind of scene to do #HandmaidsTale #HuluandPanic - EM @elisabethmossofficial

i agree it's refreshing.

My favorite scenes in the finale were the one with Serena Joy in the car, and the one with the handmaids/Janine
I loved every moments with June in the finale

The only scenes I didn't 100% like was the end scene... She seemed too confident and too heroic for my liking since I don't feel like she is the heroine just yet since she just joined Mayday.. I hope you get what I mean, it would have made more sense for her to feel like that if we had spend more time with her in another season.

Though I do agree that the scene in the car and with the handmaids surrrounding Janine was a powerful scene!

Thanks for the pic.

I didn't like the scene where she was too confident either. I don't blame Elisabeth, she was probably instructed to play it like that because they need to insert those overt, feel-good, Hollywood moments at times for some reason.

But the one with Serena was great imo. It was a major outburst but it felt very raw and genuine.

I'm finally caught up. And totally agree. It was so quick to make her a hero.

No, I think she's just reached a point where enough was enough. It was no heroism, just the direct consequence of what's been happening to her.

I dont know if I think she's that type of person. Althrough it, she's just been going along with everything. It was just a surprise I guess

I think it was the same for me.. the rebellion for her just began so this empowerment she felt, I don't know, it felt a bit unreal for me for somebody who just started to begin with her rebellion..

It could be that she's feeling this power because she is pregnant and she feels like she can't be harmed because of it?

Do you guys think pregnant women are harmless on this show? Or are there some kind of limitations to this 'power'?
