Cause it melts the cables and warps the tracks. And in the UK we cant handle the heat. Or any weather for that matter.

I've once had a train cancelle because of wet leaves on the tracks.

it's the same in Holland.. When it is cold there's a problem with the trains., when it's fall there's a problem and now even when it's Summer!
