How is everyone?
This is the last week I'll be working 5 days a week and the last week Husband will be working into the evenings
I'm ready for next week

Husband's a gardener and they're making the most out of the few evenings they can still work before it really gets dark too early. But they decided this would be the last week, so that's good

I'm babysitting for a friend of mine, so 3 days a week, that adds 2 kids to the 3 I have myself. The mom has breast cancer, that's why they asked me to babysit. These last 4 weeks, she's had to have radiation, meaning she actually stayed in the hospital all week days and only got home in the weekends. Since the dad works, it meant I had to babysit 5 days a week.
Which was just necessary, there was no other way to it. But it was crazy as heck.
Like I said, this week will be the last week that I'll have to babysit 5 days. After that I'll go back to the regular 3 days.

But this particular week Husband is out every evening and then he'll be out for the weekend as well, so I'll only see him on Tuesday again

Ever since I started babysitting (in March), I keep on waiting for life to slow down again, but it isn't happening

The original plan is/was that I only babysit until the end of December, so while I do enjoy it, I'm eager for December to come. But friends requested to have a conversation about it, cause they'd like to extend it into next year. I gotta give that some serious thought.
I feel a sense of moral "obligation" (too heavy a word, but can't find another one ) to keep on helping them out, but on the other hand, these hours are killing me

Gotta give it some time to think about it. . .

Wow Paula that schedule sounds crazy! Glad it won't be lasting much longer.
Me and my family are doing great! My husband works and goes to school though so it's all on me when it comes to the kids. Between school drop offs, practices, games, ect I feel like I am always doing something for either the hubby or the kids. I could really use some me time. But for right now I don't see it happening.


Karen sounds like so much fun for you and the boyfriend!

It's going to be on his motorcyle, birthday present from last year that couldn't happen until now because of past year's events... so I hope the weather will be okay


that doesn't sound like no fun, no me time What would you do if you had any ME time?

I usually end up staying up way too late just to get some alone time and then I am exhausted all the time

my oldest son had two baseball games this weekend but other than that no. Pretty boring weekend.
