Okay first off I had no idea Thatcher's son Mark went missing during a rally race. She was obviously very disturbed about it and cannot concentrate on work because of it. I think my favorite scene was the one between Denis & Carol because Carol was obviously upset that Thatcher favors Mark more and Denis said something like that's the way it is with mothers and sons like the way it is with fathers and daughters (I'm gonna find the exact quote and post it here). :love:

And wow! We actually get to meet Edward & Andrew in this ep. Poor Edward being bullied in school. He doesn't seem to mind it because he said he can get away with it and he gets everything because he's a Prince. Andrew arriving by helicopter was hysterical. :lol: Also that end scene between QE & Philip talking about their children. Philip said Anne without even flinching an eye. :lol: Andrew is QE's favorite? My oh my. :lol:

Diana is already pregnant with William in this ep and we continue to see their marriage is on the rocks just with one scene.

Yes I had no idea about Mark Thatcher either. I didn't remember that at all.

I really felt for Carol too. Thatcher really seemed to have something against women in general.

I thought Denis was so sweet.

I was glad to see Andrew and Edward too. Edward has always been my favourite since I saw him when he was at University in Cambridge. He was in the rag and going past the shop I was in at the time...

Yes Diana doesn't want to live in the country, and Charles doesn't want to live in town, it's not the best combination.

Yeah she comes off to me as sexist but then she's old. But so is QE and yet she's not like that.

Oh wow you've seen Prince Edward? To me he's the one I know the least (along with Anne).

Diana is right that Charles only chose Highgrove because it's near Camilla.

I didn't know about her son going missing either, that must've been horrible and with all that was going on in the Falklands..damn

it's kinda funny the Queen had to spend some extra time with her kids in order to decide who her favorite was lol. I had a feeling it'd be Andrew too Idk why:lol:

IKR? :lol: And Philip telling Elizabeth that his favorite is Anne was hilarious. He didn't even hesitate. :lol: I know QE wasn't gonna pick Charles & Anne but I wasn't sure if it was Edward or Andrew. Philip knew it was Andrew but it was funny to see QE act like she doesn't have a favorite. LOL. Parents do have favorites. It's just that they won't speak up about it. It's taboo with any family. :lol:

Well I truly don't think I do have a favourite child, they both have different qualities.

I guess maybe when you have more kids it's easier to pick a favorite:lol:

it was too obvious Philip's favorite was Anne, but in his place I'd pick her too:lol: she's definitely my fav of the siblings

I actually find the real-life Anne dull and boring much like Charles. Edward is the one I know the least so I kind of like him. After watching the show, I'm more inclined to favor Anne now. :look: :lol:

I barely ever see Anne so I don't even know what she's like irl but I love her on the show:lol:

I only ever see Anne because of social media. But that's also rare as the focus is more on Charles. I think it's great that she's not on the limelight so much and has been much more private than her brother.

I think my brother is the favorite lol. Fun fact Olivia colman did play Thatcher daughter in Iron Lady lol. I did enjoy seeing Thatcher mindset. I did enjoy elizabeth scenes with Philip and not surprised Anne was the favorite of Philip's. I think andrew was the most fun in that time period that's why he is the favorite. In real life I do remember Edward wedding I think he avoided the mistakes of his siblings.

I don't if I have a favorite of the older royal family in RL. I think I like them all except Andrew given what we know
