Well, I'm a stay-at-home mom, so I usually watch during day-time
If I were to watch in the evening, I have to start after 8.30, because I have to take the kids to bed first

Okay, so first of all; this movie is not good for my Husband Gerry is just #HusbandGoals and William and Daniel are just too nice for their own good too

Okay, so my thoughts, random, but in order of the movie

1st of all; accent! I love accents! People may not like it, that's fine, but I love it.

This movie has so many familiar faces I wouldn't have a clue from some of them where I know them from, but so many faces I recognize!

I got the tissues ready before I started watching, because I knew this movie was going to make me cry, but it's actually also so much funnier than I remember!

So I watch this movie for JDM, then after an hour he finally arrives
ACCENT!
"We don't have those in The States."
He is just freaking adorable
After Holly realizes who he is; "Me and Gerry we shared everything together." Oh my freaking goodness, he didn't
It's a bit weird to me though; 'we just had sex, but come lie down and cuddle with me, I'll tell you stories about your dead husband'.
Lovable and a bit cringy at the same time

Him showing up at the end of the movie again; endgame. Done



So, I actually think it's a good choice they left this deleted scene out:

While it's a great scene, we didn't see any of Gerry's sickness and I think that was a good choice

Wow!! love your analysis! Its definitely a sad but funny movie. Yeah you dont see JDM till she goes too Ireland. his character is just so sweet! didn't he look so cute?? his accent was dreamy. Gerard Butler is quite the looker too!
