You can have sex yet but how many times do one night stands turn into REAL relationships???

That's the issue... probably not for everyone but for Simon it has been.

It's why Martin had the conversation with him and why the Camden's don't approve of it.

He sleeps with people and he's ready to jump into bed with another girl. It's why Martin asked Simon how would he feel men were just doing that to Ruthie? Bedding her and jumping to the next girl.

This scene Simon thought he got a girl pregnant and than he thought he had an disease... that's seriously a wake up call to try try to do things differently from how he has been doing it....
Not everyone is like Simon... but in this case, SIMON needs to change his lifestyle since it's clearly not working for him.

Like Matt Camden is a character you can relate with probably more since he married and slept with his wife Sarah the same day he met her! His parents still doesn't know that, Ruthie is the only one to know about that secret.

Simon is a person who needs to get to know someone, care about them and than have sex and than have a more serious relationship.

His most serious relationships of the series has been with characters he didn't sleep with.

Which is why I said everyone is different.

Simon can't just sleep around and have a real relationship.
