It's just the house where everyone enjoys staying at because so many connections with everyone.

Roxanne was there and than saw Martin's father who she had a connection with.
Martin father is here because Martin lives there now.
Peter is there because he is dating Ruthie, and they were doing an assignment together.

Paris and Vick... forgot why they are there, probably just for dinner with Peter for the generous Camdens. lol

Cecilia is ALWAYS THERE. But she has a family we saw on this show a lot of times when she was dating Martin. lol
Cecilia is like family after her relationship with Simon. lol

Cecilia have a good connection with the young twins, Sam and David and she is dating Martin now as well....

Most of the viewers felt they didn't even need to be added on the show.

At first the name of this show "7th Heaven" was because the parents Eric and Annie had 5 kids.
So that's 2 parents + 5 kids = 7!

And than that changed during season 3 when Annie shockingly got pregnant... so 7th heaven stood for "7 Camden Kids"

So 7th Heaven is now for 7 kids who the parents have.

During season 1-2, it was for the 5 kids + 2 parents, which made sense to me and worked. lol

I don't feel the twins Sam and David added much to the series.
They have some good moments but... yeah. lol

Guess it is what is is.
Probably if there was ever a reboot, they'd be so much more older and better now. lol
