His screen-time felt reduced in S2 (was it just my imagination?)

I didn't really have an issue with him being on the Barb mission with Nancy. I thought it was a nice way to get them back alone together.

Plus, he was always a good brother to Will and how was he to know about the possession? Everyone thought things had returned to normal after S1.

Charlie's a brilliant actor, so I'd love to see various sides of Jonathan's emotions in S3, and particularly a happy Jonathan

I think he got a fair amount in S2, but people were so hooked on Steve's interaction with Dustin that Jonathan was suddenly an afterthought in the fandom.

I remember a trio interview for Charlie, Natalia and Joe in 2017 where Charlie and Joe were both practically begging for Steve/Jonathan friendly interaction
