Are we to believe El and Mike didn’t go beyond kissing in season 3 episode 1? Was their curfew really 4:00 or were they just rushing home to have sex before Hopper got home? Cuz they’ve been together since the kiss at the snow ball, right? And now it’s July? So they’ve spent seven months just making out for hours a day? I mean come on, why did Eleven have to whisper into Mike's ear and both of them break into smiles before they left the group of them on the hill? And if it's July the sun stays out til after 8:00, right? And Mike and her are STILL making out after it's dark out. That means they've been doing nothing but sucking face for FOUR HOURS? I don’t want them to be in a rush to get physical but I find it hard to believe that Hopper scared Mike away before it got to the next stage. IMO they ran back to the cabin, had sex, and when we see them kissing later it's hours after the fact and they're feeling romantic again. Not to mention that surely they had plenty of unsupervised time during those seven months when Hopper had to go to work. Did it occur to Hopper that the kissing is possibly the only part that he's SEEING, and they're doing other stuff when he's not around? With kids that age obviously they wouldn't be able to show a sex scene, in which case they imply sex. IMO the whisper/smile/run off the hill was the implication.

uh, I think even kissing is a pretty big step for them especially Eleven since she never had a connection with anyone before. I think they're taking things as they should and they're not gonna go further for a few more years. it's a pretty innocent thing, they just wanna spend time together

yeah i agree. they are taking things slow. this is all very new to el. she doenst really understand/know about sex yet. so they have to take things one step at a time. right now they are just enjoying the making out part

So you really think that after seven months of nonstop kissing they’re not getting ready for the next step? What about when Hopper has to go to work? He just leaves them unsupervised in the cabin?

Compare their relationship to that of Dustin and Suzie, who are clearly affectionate towards each other but mostly seem interested in calling each other pet names and singing songs from The Neverending Story.

also Mike is very respectful and he wouldn't think of rushing anything. like I said even kissing is a pretty big deal for El so I think it's perfectly enough for them now
