episode synopsis

After Hayes and Wallace share a passionate night together, Hayes returns to reality and cautiously considers sticking her toe into relationship waters with Wallace. Simultaneously, she also tries to make amends for her bitter loss in the death penalty case of Earl Slavitt. Hayes implores the CIU team to aggressively pursue the case of Sophie Hausen, a young woman serving a life sentence for murdering a popular college basketball player, whom she accused of raping her. Meanwhile, Tess finally attempts to make things right in her friendship with Matty.

I'm excited. It looks like another intense, interesting case. Plus we finally get to see what's up with Tess and Matty.

From what I've read about the remaining episodes they all seem so good and I'm so excited. And definitely excited to see how the Tess/Matty thing turns out.

I hate that there are only four episodes left but I've missed the show so I look forward to watching the rest of the episodes.

That's basically how I feel but I don't think it's really set in yet that there are only 4 episodes left.

Great episode!

I could see where both Sam & Hayes were coming from with the case.

Hayes: A woman killing her rapist should not be locked away
Sam: Just because she was raped doesn't give her the right to kill anyone

Glad Sophie ended up being innocent, though. It was a shame it happened to 3 other women & they were too afraid to come forward. Both women (& men!) should never be ashamed or afraid to come forward when rape or sexual abuse happens.

The Tess & Matty scenario kind of breaks my heart.

I hope that's not the end we see of Matty & they're both able to get some closure.

LOVED LOVED LOVED the scenes with Tess & Frankie. He's such a good friend to her, both personally & professionally.

I'm glad Sam is looking out for Maxine & I hope he continues to do so & she's getting the help she needs.

I know they're not very popular around here, but I'm glad to see Conner & Hayes moving forward in their relationship & we'll see how it goes with them over the next 3 episodes.
