A follow-up to one of the earlier stories:

"It is with a great amount of shame that I stand before you and tell you that I have betrayed your trust," Ms Jones said after Friday's court hearing.

"Because of my actions I am retiring from the sport of track and field, a sport which I deeply love," she said, admitting she had broken the trust of her fans.

Once again, I have no sympathy for Marion Jones, and she needs to surrender her medals .., of course, then they'll go to Ekatarani Thanou, and I'm not sure that's much better.

I was wondering what happens to the medals once she surrenders them.

I have no sympathy for Marion Jones, either.

After a 12-year split, the Indy Racing League and Champ Car World Series will reunite for 2008:

IRL will absorb Champ Car in open-wheel deal - Motor Sports - MSNBC.com

The IRL will add Champ Car's Long Beach, Edmonton, and Surfer's Paradise races to the IRL schedule this season, and eventually add other races(from Champ Car and new venues) in 2009.

I am happy for open wheel racing, let's hope they start to get back to there glory years.
