NFL Week 17: Pick the Winners (Deadline: Sat., Dec. 27)
Hey NFL fans! The "Pick the Winners” game returns for its fourth season at this board. For those who have played before, you know how the drill goes. Newcomers: this is a fun and easy game to play. For each week of the regular season, all you have to do is pick which team you think will win each match-up and then place a point value on that game. For example, there are 16 games in Week 17, and it is your job to allocate points from the game you are most confident in (16 pts.) to the game you view as a toss-up (1 pt.). Therefore, points will be allotted in decreasing value from 16, 15, 14, 13...all the way down to 1. *Remember, you CAN'T place the same point value on more than one game.* At the end of each week, we will tally up the number of points each participant has earned based on correct predictions, and the person with the most overall points at that time will be crowned winner. Sound simple? If you have any questions, feel free to post them at this thread.
Week 17 games: Buffalo at New England Seattle at San Francisco Philadelphia at Washington Chicago at Kansas City Tampa Bay at Tennessee Indianapolis at Houston St. Louis at Detroit Cleveland at Cincinnati Jacksonville at Atlanta Dallas at New Orleans N.Y. Bah. The Falcons game isn't televised here in Las Vegas, so it looks like I'll be spending my Sunday at the sports book inside one of the casinos by my house. At least I'll get to watch ALL of the games. And free beer, if I place a bet. So tell me...which game is a sure-fire winner (keep in mind that they hafta cover the point spread, to win me some money)?

Oooh. KC. Good call. The Chiefs are favored by 10, with the over/under at 45. Yeah, I think I will take KC to cover the spread. Thanks.
By the by...this Patriots / Bills game has been pretty anti-climatic. Not that I'm shocked or anything... __________________
