Aston Villa got a point for the first time in a while as well today. Good for them. Leicester of course won today & surprisingly Chelsea lost to Bournemouth earlier. It's very close this year as only 5 points are separating 5th & 12th place at this time.

Arsenal got a 3-1 win over Sunderland at the Emirates earlier today to move to 2nd place behind Leicester City. While i'm glad that the Gunners got the win, i'm disappointed with how lackluster they looked for much of the match. It was one of those matches where they were a step or two slower at times. Still it's good to get the three points. So i'll take them.

The Timbers managed to win the MLS Cup today. I'm a Whitecaps fan though, but, but good for them winning it.
Tough luck with those injuries. Surprised that Liverpool lost to Newcastle today. __________________

 So the first half of the Champions League group stage ended! One Manchester failed to qualify for the next stage, and another Manchester hijacked the 1st place in the last round! LVG Out? |

Went to the match today and West Ham drew 0-0 against Stoke City. They hit the post and ball cleared off the line, but it wasn't to be..

At least they didn't lose like Southampton did today. Ugh. I was so tired though thankfully I fell asleep during the 2nd half. Villa of course needs a win tomorrow.

Yep, any predictions?
 Wolfsburg, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern, Zenit, Atletico, City and PSG for me. I wish Roma beat Real, but that's just wishes.  Arsenal-Barcelona will be bonkers. Also, many good matches in the Europe League:  Fiorentina-Tottenham Dortmund-Porto Marseille-Athletic Bilbao Villareal-Napoli Great matches. |

I haven't seen most of those clubs play, but I wouldn't be surprised if Tottenham does well.
Another tough loss for Chelsea F.C. today. Interesting that Aston Villa is just a few league wins away from passing them in the table that's if Chelsea continues to lose matches of course. What more can be said about Leicester F.C.? Incredible season they are having & only 1 league loss they have suffered yet. __________________
