I've only seen bits and pieces of Riverdale, but to me, there is just no comparison.

The fandom is really talented. I love these manip arts coming out. Anything with Madi and Bellarke warms my heart.
I probably should pull back my expectations but fans are making it hard. __________________

I'm still keeping low expectations, tbh. Do I have ideas about things that I want to happen? Of course. But I'm not going in thinking they actually will happen. I've been burned so many times.

That's the way to go. It's impossible not to speculate, but I try not to even do that too much. I just watch and enjoy what I enjoy.

You'd be better off staying away from spoilers.
I had seen that whole "Clarke's gonna wake up in Bellamy's arms when she leaves the COL" spoiler, and I had that so in my head that I think it's honestly one of the reasons why I was so disappointed in the season three finale. Well, that and it's just not my favorite finale. |

I know, I read so many of those metas.
 And which is why the finale was disappointing to me in terms of Bellarke moments too, though I do love the stupid Bellamy joke when he was trying to make Clarke feel better and also the handholding. __________________

Well, I just think the season three finale was a little weaker in general, too, because the season three COL storyline was weaker.

That's probably true.
Also, the finale was a bit anti climatic after 3X15, whereas Praimfaya just left me wanting more.  __________________

Yeah, I mean . . . 3x15 was crazy and intense the whole way through, and then 3x16 . . . meh.
I don't know. I liked it better upon a rewatch, I guess. But I do believe spoilers got my hopes up, hence the reason I now stay away. Agreed about Praimfaya. I hope the writers carry this momentum into season five, because I believe there were a lot of things they did well with season four. |
