I'm not in the Tumblr tag, but a lot of people on Twitter are being downers.

I'm waiting to see what 5x08 brings. I honesty don't know if I'll be able to handle hiatus if they aren't canon by that point. Everyone is going to be pessimistic and insufferable if we don't at least get a kiss. Well... not everyone here, but a lot of Twitter.

I would actually die of shock if we got a kiss already in 5x08. I don’t even think it’s happening by the end of the season, but I think it’s happening eventually.

And I should have clarified, I meant post-season hiatus will be insufferable if we don't get a kiss by the end of the finale. But this mini-hiatus post 5x08 will probably be miserable in some way, too.

To be honest, I think 5x08 is going to be a really interesting episode, but I think people are hyping it up waaaay too much if they're thinking we're going to get something . . . canon. Ugh, I hate that word. You know what I mean, though.

Who wrote 5x08? Do we know?

Lauren Muir is the writer. She also did “God Complex” last season.

Oh.

I wasn't a huge fan of God Complex. It wasn't a bad episode, though. In fact, it was really thought-provoking. I think I was just bummed that Bellamy and Clarke were separated for it.

I don't think we will get an kiss that early, but you never know.

... I just want acknowledgement of feelings by end of the season and I'm a happy camper. Plus, he's still with Echo

and I don't want it to be a cheating situation. Ever.

Oh god, me, too. We’re running out of episodes for that to end, though, which does make me a bit nervous. Regardless, it’s clearly not an endgame ship, IMO, but I still don’t want to go through hiatus with that looming over the fandom.

I’m still holding out hope that the relationship dynamics presented at the beginning of the season will change by the end, though (i.e. Memori apart and now getting back together).

I really hope so. They need to talk and get some things out about how much they missed each other and how much the six years changed their dynamic. And, as much as I try to be positive, I think if they don't kiss by the end of the finale, I really am going to be truly disappointed.
