It would be so frustrating if they had the same personal issues/struggles as past seasons. Of course, realistically, they still would have to somewhat deal with that but hopefully not in a way that feels repetitive.

Yeah, there is definitely a way to have them deal with the past while also confronting the future, in a way where it feels like they’re both progressing.
