It took her so long to forgive Bellamy’s actions in S3 so Octavia deserves to be hung out to dry by Bellamy for a while, especially because her behaviour has been way worse than anything Bellamy has ever done to her IMO.

Honestly I’m okay if Bellamy never fully forgives her, but even partial forgiveness needs a full season.
