You need fans to act together when you want to start a fan boycott. It worked with the oscars. Many people of colour got noms and wins this year after barely any won last year and fans threatened in masses to boycott.

But they had a bigger and important reason. Our complaints about the Storyline doesn't fall in that category.

Nope, but for a series fans it's writing is the most important part of this show, so in the realms of the show it incredibly important. And we could change something. I just think most fans are too lazy to organize a nationwide boycott.
