Hey he is an awesome footballer and maybe he is arrogant, but he also does a lot of charity. I do get the hate for Ronaldo, but not for Messi...?

I prefer ronaldo tbh. Well both are arrogant, but ronaldo always plays for the team. Messi has to always be the center of the game bring anything. He‘s overrated and the more the press writes messi messi messi, the more people scream messi messi messi.

and messi's a tax evader. He's a jerk too, just like ronaldo, ok not as much as him of course (if the sexual assault is true), but still enough to despise him as well. And from a sport perspective ronado certainly is more a team player than messi, messi needs his pall placed in front of the goal to kick it in. He's like the whole Uefalona club way overrated.

Didn't say sexual assault was the same as tax evasion, just stated that tax evasion warrants to dislike him too on a personal level. And ronaldo is of course even worse. Not saying that I ever did or ever will like ronaldo either, he's a good player though. On an quality and personal level compined there's a lot better players like Pirlo for example, del Piero, Raul, Klose.

Well talking about football, messi isn't a team player indeed and yes he waits for others to give him the ball to make goals, argentinian national team performances showed that very well, he never did much there bc the team didn't play for him.

You may be right about not judging them personally, but also from a sports point of view messi (and ronaldo too actually) are too much self entitled divas who always need the game to be about them and I admittedly get angry when people love those divas in team sports, had already in school fights with class mates over soccer players.
