I like Runaways. It's a nice teen drama. But I think you need their parents to be somewhat likeable characters. You want adults to kind of see it from their perspective. If given that chance to do what they are going to do, would you do that for the sake of your children? I think that they need to have the parents be a little more heartless. The only ones who are convincing are mama Minoru and mama Wilder. Really evil "get **** done" vibes from them. The rest of them have their own ways of being cut throat, but they're more in a business sense of things. And gert's parents feel like really nice people who got caught up in the wrong place at the wrong time.
