I'm sure alycia and some other's wuld like to express their thoughts but the backlash from the public and also industry people can be enormous.
Constance Wu nearly killed herself after major backlash from everyone, fans, industry etc when she said she was tired of being on "fresh off the boat" __________________

I heard there was some controversy about "Fresh off the Boat" but never watched the show and also didn't really know any actors in it. Hollywood is really brutal.

 Hollywood is truly not a good place. only very few movie productions over there are. __________________

Ys I know, it's a bad place to work at, I think alycia so far had quite a lot of luck with fear being mostly not toxic (excpet for the rumours of jenna being annoying on set and nobody including alycia liking her lol), and also her new mini series seemingly being done in a nice atmosphere.

the smart ones only go to LA for work, they live far away in their private lives. Jen lives in NYC, Gal lives in Tel Aviv, Alycia loves her Australia.

Though alycia lives in LA when in the US. But that is likely bc she so far has not much paps following her around. If she gets more famous she might actually move elsewhere to avoid the paps.
