When Madison talks so favourably of Nick, you can even see the slight transition of uninhibited jealousy on her face. It’s not that she hates her brother—on the contrary—but Madison has always been pro-Nick before anybody else. And it’s annoying. Though she does finally, finally, admit:

You have to know that I never, ever, loved you any less. I just thought you were alright. – Madison

I had to be. – Alicia

Alicia was a normal eighteen year old to begin with, but her strength should never have been underestimated. Those words reflect what she suffered through childhood. And with Alicia’s wit, intelligence and strategic strength—she looks set to go far.
