I love this scene of them soooo much:

Because Alec is losing his parabatai, and we know parabatai bond is stronger than brother/BFF bond, it's like losing part of himself..and he would have every right to be the most broken one there. And yet he is the one who remains the strongest and comforts Clary I love how when it matters, Alec is there for her because that is the kind of great person that he is __________________
