I have been thinking about this, and I think that it may be time to close this board. Our post counts have been declining over the past few months and we have very few regular posters. As you know, Fan Forum requires that we average at least 12 posts per day, with lower numbers than that leading to warnings and then possible closure of the board.
I would prefer to go out under our own terms rather than be forced to close due to low post counts.

Please let us know what you think. I'd be glad to hear any suggestions or advice to renew interest here. Remember that to keep the board going, we need the commitment of a few regular, dedicated posters. As much as we love this board, please don't just post to "save" the board and then disappear again, because we'll be in the same position that we're in now if you do.

I really hate doing this but I know that without a co-mod we do not have the regular posters for me to carry on moderating on my own.

I know but so far we haven't had any applications in so wanted to at least try this and if it does close it will be sad but its the way it goes sometimes!

I truly hope someone steps up here, it'd be sad to see this board be closed. Would you keep it up if you had more people posting here, Emma? Or do you want that co-moderator spot to be filled for you to want to keep it open. I'd be willing to help out here more and post but not sure I'd be the right fit to moderate it.

I'd need more regular posters that would post every day for me to consider keeping the board going with just me as a mod.

You'd just have the same situation as Emma and I did before, sadly. I'm not sure why not more people are interested in discussing this wonderful human being.
