I loved S1 for what we got for them and it was very angsty
S2 is definitely better storyline wise and the depth and quality of the scenes. 2x03 was incredible for the flashbacks and Parabatai history and since then and last weeks episode with that hug! The scene was so beautiful and no words were exchanged like you said Mel but so much was said between them with Jace showing his emotions with Alec which he doesn't do with anyone else and Alec just knowing what Jace needed in that moment __________________

Ugh, 2x03 is stunning, and I agree. Seeing those flashbacks and the Parabatai ceremony really did a lot for their relationship and how we view it. It was wonderful.

2x03 is one I watch over and over again it truly is wonderful and amazing
We finally got to see what we wanted with the flashback of mini Jalec and them growing up and going through the Parabatai ceremony For those that weren't sure about the bond this episode made it perfectly clear what they mean to each other __________________

I have to be honest, I kind of forgot about it until I saw watching someone react to Shadowhunters on Youtube and he got to that episode and I just thought "Right, this is the episode that absolutely destroyed me."
