The Maryse/Alec scene was really nice. I liked the story about little Alec and the crayon memos. He really was destined to be Head of the Institute.

Maryse/Isabelle was so sweet. I loved seeing her be so understanding of Izzy. Her telling Izzy to fight for love like her brother did was great because it shows that she has accepted Alec and Magnus as a couple.

That was such a beautiful moment, both realizing and accepting that they've made mistakes;

I wasn't a fan of Maryse in S1 and 2A but towards the end of 2A and 2B she has totally redeemed herself in my eyes and she is building bridges with her children

When Isabelle told her about her addiction and Maryse just held her and said she was sorry

Maryse really opened her eyes with how Alec acted towards her in 2A, and realizing something wasn't okay. I think it also helped for her that she no longer had to focus on a failing marriage

Yes she was so focused on presenting the perfect front, that she didn't stop and think how her actions were effecting her children

And now Alec is head of the Institute and is doing it well, so less attention on her.

Her children are growing up and yes that means less pressure for her

She deserves nice things, like some rest and quiet. She only has Max to worry about.
