Yeah, the timeline of them was never really clear. So we assume they dated throughout high school? and then they broke up and she left for college. And then.. Linc was with Lisa and fathered LJ (with law school, V could have been gone.. 5-7 years?) and when she got back they had another chance... but what messed that up? because they seemed happy in that flashback.

 I love that flashback so muchIts confusing on fathering LJ cause LJ was 16 and Linc was 36-37 where Michael was 32 cause Christina had the problem with the nose bleeding at 32 (right) where Linc was 5 years older than Michael. So Linc would have had to be 20-21 to father LJ ... though the one scene when Linc commented on it could have been him that married Veronica instead of Sebastian has me super confused did he cheat on Veronica which caused LJ which doesn't make sense either ... so yea what did Linc do to mess his chance with Veronica?__________________

Yeah, we don't know what occurred after their reunion in the flashback. Maybe Linc found out that Lisa was pregnant and he wanted to do the right thing, and so left Veronica for Lisa?

I don't think it was mentioned. He mentions to young LJ that he and his mother didn't work out, or stopped living together, but don't think married was mentioned.

 the first scene when Lincoln sees her and she tells him she's his attorney now Veronica calling him out for being a lousy lair, Linc being all cute trying to find out and her/Sebastian  looking all innocent fishing for info__________________

Yeah, Linc isn't a good liar, but he sounded sincere to me, and I think he did meant what he did. He wanted her happy, to it not working out, I think he was sorry about that.
