Timberlake mum on Britney Spears look-alike in video

NEW YORK Dec 28 - The video for Justin Timberlake's new song, ``Cry Me a River,'' features the 'N Sync singer videotaping a bedroom escapade with a sexy brunette and making sure another woman - who looks an awful lot like Britney Spears - sees it.
But he's coy about whether this is a case of art imitating life. He and Spears, 21, broke up this spring after dating for three years.
``I feel I became so consumed with her that I didn't see some things that I should have seen,'' Timberlake tells Vibe magazine for its February issue. ``I don't feel like I'm saying too much by saying she knows why this happened. Britney's a fire sign, a Sagittarius, they do things on a whim.''
The chorus to ``Cry Me a River,'' which the 22-year-old co-wrote, goes: ``Told me you loved me, why did you leave me all alone/Now you tell me you need me when you call me on the phone.''
Since then, Timberlake has dated actress Alyssa Milano and been linked to Janet Jackson. - AP

N'Sync Coming Back

'N Sync hunk Justin Timberlake has stunned fans of the boyband, by revealing they plan to return to the recording studio together.

Many presumed the group had split after the success of Timberlake's solo material - with other bandmembers also embarking on individual projects.

But Justin insists the group will return to the studio with a brand new sound.

The Space Cowboy singer says, "I don't think we're necessarily involved in teen pop anymore - because we're not teens. I think when we get back into the studio we will all sit down and see where we're at."

Britney + Justin To Meet Backstage At Awards Show

The American Music Awards could turn into a catfight backstage as former loves Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears are both presenting prizes on January 13th.

Timberlake will join Amy Osbourne - the reclusive daughter of event hosts Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne - to present one award, while Britney will appear later in the show.

Meanwhile, all presenters will be given a goody bag featuring a talking Ozzy Osbourne doll, the party game Twister and a river rafting tour of Chile, worth an estimated $6,500.

Joey Fatone To Appear In 'Big Fat Greek' Sitcom
'NSYNC member has signed on for six episodes of movie spinoff.

LOS ANGELES — Joey Fatone's acting résumé will soon have a TV credit next to his big-screen and Broadway roles, as the 'NSYNC singer has agreed to appear in a sitcom based on "My Big Fat Greek Wedding."

"I actually talked to Nia Vardalos, who wrote it and produced it, and she told me she might be doing a TV show," Fatone explained at Monday's American Music Awards. "I was like, 'Let me know. I'm in.' We're taking a break right now with 'NSYNC and going to start writing in September, so I would love to do a couple of episodes."

Fatone and Vardalos, who wrote and starred in the one-woman play the movie is based on, will be joined by almost every actor from the film, except John Corbett, who had already signed on to star in FX's "Lucky."

The show, titled "My Big Fat Greek Life," will debut on CBS on February 24, before moving to its regular time period of 7 p.m. on Sundays.

Vardalos told TV critics last week the sitcom will be "hipper, more modern and less old-world" than the movie.

"Hopefully it will be funnier than the movie," added Fatone, who had a relatively small role in the film.

After "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" opened and slowly became one of the top grossing movies of 2002, Fatone took on a role in "Rent" on Broadway .

Justin: Christina's Talent Outshines Her Image

Justin Timberlake is refusing to criticize fellow singer Christina Aguilera - preferring instead to focus his attention on her vocal abilities.

The 'NSYNC heart-throb, 22, who is this year due to embark on a tour with his fellow ex-Mouseketeer, says he refuses to categorize her racy new image the way so many critics have, because he's more captivated by her talent.

He says, "I wouldn't put her in trailer trash (category) or I wouldn't put her in the clever pop chick.

"I don't think what she's doing now is trying to be clever and I don't think what she's doing now is trash because homegirl can sing - she's bad!

"And that's gonna translate in five years just like it translates right now when you listen to 'Beautiful.'

"The fact that she can release a song like 'Diirty' and get everybody talking, and then release a song like 'Beautiful' and say, 'Look, this is why I am standing here.' That's the Christina that I met on the TV show that we did and that's the Christina that will be around 10 years from now."

Pop heartthrob Justin Timberlake's reported romance with Christina Aguilera is heating up - the couple spent all their time together in London recently.

Timberlake, who is about to go on tour with the "Dirrty" singer, enjoyed her company during a promotional tour in London.

The sexy pair stayed at the same hotel in the British capital, went out for romantic meals together and then took the same plane back to Los Angeles.

The couple who claim to be just friends tried to conceal they were together at all times by arriving and leaving separately everywhere they went.
