Hakeem feels under pressure as he struggles to find a place for his fiancé, Laura, in both his family and his career; Cookie finally lets Jamal in on the truth about what happened to Freda's father, prompting him to warn Freda about his family's ulterior motives; and a sacrifice is made on behalf of Lucious.

Reading the description.

It seems like Freda is the shooter, and Jamal is getting shot.

Seems this will sort of be Jamal's fault by telling Freda.... I hope not though.
I hope that's not. I just hope the synopsis and promo is deceiving.

It might be one of those cases about it looking predictable that it's Freda and it won't turn out to be her.

This episode will be very interesting.

Hopefully we find out who the pusher is and hopefully it's not the obvious in Anika or what will be the point?
Hopefully Andre noticed the mistake he made and bringing Leah back in everyone's life.

Hopefully the shooter isn't predictable with being Freda Gathers... now on to the episode.

Start of the episode! Lucious is trying to make the performance at the ASA's the best performance it will ever be. He wants to world to talk about it.
It seems that Lucious is hiding out from Leah Walker and Cookie doesn't get the fear.

Urg Leah Walker, criticizing food. Why don't you go back to the institution you was in and eat that nice home cooked meals.

Uh-oh... Leah seeing Lucious video on the television and it's all about her.

Derek telling Jamal to let his Mom go? no disrespect but you have been in his life for about a week, I think you should just slow it down just a bit.

Here goes Andre? chatting with his best friend ever in Grandma Leah Walker.... oh nooo...
I changed my mind, I think Leah is the killer.

8:10 commercial break.

Aww poor Anika. Rhonda is distancing herself from Anika and Anika is really confused as to why.

Hakeem/Laura. Seems their relationship is full of sad moments.

Laura doesn't think Hakeem believes in her.
It was a nicer scene than I thought it would be though.

Cookie trying to find out more about Tariq. It just show how smart Cookie is.
Surprising Lucious isn't.
Cookie and Lucious banter is really the best.

Oh Carol and Lucious were together before Lucious/Cookie got together.

Interesting backstory...

What a shock it would be if Carol kids are Lucious.

Of course Derek acted like a victim as soon as Lucious walked in.
Wow Lucious knew that D-Major was gay.

Aww this conversation is intense.

JAMAL OWNED HIM DURING THAT SCENE.

Cookie explained everything that happened with Frank Gathers, from when she snitched on him and when Lucious killed him in prison.

Leah Walker keep those dry tears to yourself.

Wow Freda found out.

Carol found told her the news. I knew it even before this episode.
Instead of hitting Lucious, she shot Jamal. I would be shocked if I didn't call it.

Of course Jamal blames this all on Lucious.

All that fighting Jamal and Lucious did, and none of them won the ASAs award... smh.
Lucious finally feeling guilt to everything he said about Jamal.
Of course at the end, Cookie and Lucious are in this together.

The ending is will Leah Walker reveal that she is Lucious mother...
The preview for the next episode did not interest me at all.

This episode was okay to me because I found it so predictable. lol

Nah I don't think the grandma pushed Rhonda, if I typed that it was probably an error since I live type so I type with emotion.

The scene of the night was the Jamal and Lucious one... it's a tough one to watch, and in a way I felt it's the most unforgivable thing Lucious has ever said ever... even compared to his fight with Andre a few episodes ago.
Jamal is just amazing!

Oh I looked at the post, when I said "Oh no I think Leah is the killer" I actually meant shooter instead of Freda.

Because I thought Andre was going to allow crazy Leah to come to the event..

However, I changed my mind back quickly to Freda being the shooter.

I watched the episode

It was a pretty good one. I enjoyed all the Cookie/Luciosu scenes, really. I love them

Do you think this could change Lucious? Could he end up in prison too=

Poor Jamal, paying for his father's mistakes

Damn Carol, I don't like her. I don't like her at all after that scene. I knew she would start drinking again

About Anika... why is she in the police station in the end? Did she go there or the guy brought her there?

I don't think Leah will say who she is. If she would have said they would have shown us that in this episode but as they ended it like this I think someone is most probably going to stop her... Andre maybe

I didn't really care for it, I'm sick of all the drama, Carol crap, Lucious constantly gutting Jamal, Freda could've handled that at a different time then to risk others life. But the music was better this ep although I'm really missing S1 music feel with loads of musical guest stars.

I'm still enjoying the show but I'm happily in the minority who isn't feeling Cookie/Lucious because of what's it's doing to Cookie's character.

I just feel it's 100% 24/7 "Lucious... how Lucious is doing? How is this going to effect Lucious? Lucious is Lucious. A love like Lucious and I... "
It's just getting on my nerve right now.

Jamal comes to talk to Cookie, and it's all "Aww you know how your father is..." just getting on my nerve now.

I'm still loving the show and the music, I think the music is as good as in S1

that's true about Cookie that she is falling for Lucious and they are kinda ruining her character but she's still my Queen

I hope the show gets better for me because if not, the next episode might sadly be my last episode of the series.

I felt this episode was decent but predictable since I watched the promo which I probably should stop doing.

IDK I'm not feeling this season as much, at least not the second half, S3 has gotta bring back the noise as in music, cameo, less family drama, less flip flopping
