It sure is... the promo just summed up what I thought. Laura should have never took Hakeem back so quickly.

Before I get to the my live recap, I'd say Jamal has probably moved back to my favorite character of the series.
Hakeem had a pretty starting to Empire... and then it fell apart.  Cookie slapping Hakeem upside the head. Classic moment of their relationship. lolHakeem with that new logo. And the logo is even in the intro for the show right now. It will be interesting to see how long this last. I love Andre for being smart to know that Rhonda just didn't fall down the stairs and God is speaking to Andre amazingly if he told him that. lol I loved Becky for calling the crowd out that Drip Drop isn't even Jamal's song.  I was thinking the same thing.Oh Carol back on the show.  I love it!Nice to see Carol and Porsha scenes. I wouldn't mind seeing more of that since it feels like they both should be able to click. Cookie loyalty to Lucious is pissing me the heck off. Andre was pretty much my favorite character of the night. With his trust in God and his happiness. I loved the Cookie/Andre scene. She said something wrong and instantly noticed and hugged him and apologized for it. Oh Tiana is still on the show! nice to see. I enjoyed that once Cookie said she was putting her tour on hold, Tiana wondered if it was about not being with Hakeem. I felt that was a natural reaction. I can see why Hakeem feel he's right and I love Cookie for giving it to him straight. Jamal new song was lit. That song was just so much emotional. It's so different from his song dedicated to his father during Season 1 when he just wanted his father to love him. This song was just being brutally honest about all of his dad flaws. This is the Jamal I missed. Aww Rhonda and Andre at conceling trying to fix some wrong things in their relationship. Sad Andre automatically assumed she was cheating. However, he just wanted to know the truth. I loved the Jamal and Hakeem scene. At least we know why Hakeem slept with Camilla. ... too bad he had to cheat on Laura, however he put his family first.I loved Cookie comparing Hakeem to Ray J. That was a great song that Jamal and Hakeem put together. Byshere acting during the scene was amazing. That song really uplifted Andre up. I loved seeing how the family is trying to uplift Andre up before he go into a depressing mode.I really love the family without Lucious. Wow Camilla is a crazy nut. Killed her wife... although I guess in her defense, she did get betrayed. Wow Lucious turned the tables on Camilla real quickly. What an ending... seems like it might be another thing for Hakeem to get framed over... dang I didn't expect Camilla to go out like that. A murder-suicide. |

I always love when Jamal and Hakeem do music together, that song for Andre
 but Cookie calling him crazy  Porsha and Carol was so funny, wish their scene wasn't so brief. I'm actually surprised Hakeem turned on Camilla but I don't believe Camilla is dead. Lucious didn't check if she swallowed that poison, soon as he left she could have easily spit it out Quote:

This episode was so much better than last weeks episode
 I loved it. What a shocking end I would have never imagined that Camilla would kill herself. Lucious... he had to be there of course  I loved how the family was working together in this episode. Andre's scenes were all so good. Cookie was so mean to him in that one scene I didn't like the music tbh, except that one song for Andre Tiana's song is horrible  __________________
