Love is dangerous and makes you vulnerable. If she really falls in love there is no escape from that imo. But I think right now she sees Barry in Angelo and thinks about if she can catch from the edge of what she missed in the past imo.

I also don't think she'd love Angelo the way she loves Lucious. Lucious and Cookie have a deeper connection, understanding and love
