Hi everyone ,

The Fan Forum Graphics Team is in the process of (re)customising message boards and now it's your turn!

If you have any picture or colour suggestions please post them in this thread. Don't post (hotlink) the pictures, links to them are fine. Make sure that the pictures are of as high quality as possible and that the top of the head of the person in the picture isn't cropped off. We also like to use photoshoot images when possible, preferably individual pictures of each cast member. When suggesting colours please keep in mind that some colours will work better than others. The Team usually tries to avoid really vibrant and dark colours because we have found in the past that they are hard to look at for long periods of time. If you would like some help coming up with colour combinations we recommend checking out the design seeds website.

Everyone is encouraged to voice their opinions for this as you are the ones who will be posting on the board and we hope to make as many people happy with the finished result as possible. It does not matter if you are a board moderator, regular poster, or casual poster here. If you have a suggestion, please share it here with us .

Your suggestions for possible pictures and colours will be taken into serious consideration, but in the interest of seeing every board receive the best customised look possible the final decision concerning how this board will be customised will be made by the members of the Graphics Team. This is because we want to make sure that the selected graphic and colours fit into the overall design scheme that we've established for Fan Forum.

For a full explanation of the message board customisation process, see this thread. If you have any questions, please feel free to send Rae or Mel a PM or ask the Team on the message board customisation thread.

Please leave this topped until a week or so after the board has been (re)customised.

Note: It usually takes less than two weeks for us to finish making the new banner and the sooner we know what you want, the more we can work on it (though it can take a few months or so to set it up with the new colours on the board), so please let us know your suggestions as soon as possible.

When the Team have made and voted on a winning graphic I will close this thread until the graphic and colours get put up. It will then be re-opened so that you can share your thoughts about it.

Also, I definitely agree with you Issi.

I think the Lyons are the one people who should be up there... if a character was added, I could only really see it being Rhonda and Anika since they have been on the show since Season 1 and still are on.

I want some kind of golden look.

Do you have any promotional pictures for those characters ?

You may find some colour schemes you like on the Design Seeds website. If you are thinking yellow/orange/gold tones then I would suggest looking through the butter, yellow, and orange colour schemes. Based on what you have said this and this jump out at me but you could be thinking of something completely different as there are so many different shades of yellow, orange, and purple.

I agree about the Lyons being the most important, and then maybe add Anika and Rhonda. I was wondering about Becky. If we add Anika and Rhonda, do you want her too?

I don't know, I think it's prettier when there are not that much people on the art like the Lyons is already 5 characters with Rhonda, Anika and Becky that would be 8 and then there is Porsha too who is imo as important as Becky is but that's just my opinion I like when there are less people

those colour schemes are you suggested are cool, Rae. I like this one too

we are becoming official, I feel only the Lyon family should be in the main header, characters come and go, Becky is hardly in scenes and Anika I don't see a future for her

I don't think Becky or Porsha should be on it seeing as how they are never really seen. Where as Anika and Rhonda has usually been a part of the storylines and are seen twice as much.

So Anika and Rhonda are the only characters outside of the Lyons who I'd say should be added.

I remember I made a Empire banner but I'm not sure if I used all promo pictures for them. I think I just felt their should be a picture of someone singing. lol

Now where to find the pictures, I'm not sure. I think Google was my friend for the pictures hunt. lol

I can agree with that cause Anika and Rhonda did have decent roles from the start but now not so much, however they do still carry some weight. Did I make sense?

While I did completely miss that pictures were linked to at all I still prefer having links to each character so that those who are not familiar with the show know who is who . That is unless those links tell you in which case just ignore me .

Since I have no idea about the show (and maybe others too like Rae already pointed out) it would be great if you could post a list with the chartacters you want on the banner and a picture to them

That's a good link, Tia. Yes, I'm still only for Lucious, Cookie, Andre, Jamal, Hakeem... and if you really think we should then I'm also okay with Rhonda and Anika
