I've seen him in S3 of Body of Proof and I really liked that. His part is a bit of a third wheel, but still fun to watch. The other thing I've seen him in - besides I Love Mummy - is an episode of The Borgias where he plays a Muslim prince who goes to live at the Vatican. It was only one episode, but it was interesting. I was intrigued enough to look up the history of the actual prince on which his character was based. The show depicts him as a fun-loving, intellectual and romantic character. Apparently he was pretty miserable in real life, living in exile essentially and constantly worried that his brother, the Sultan would send assassins to kill him.

I actually had a dream that everyone on this board met him somewhere and someone (Kim?) brought it up, and he was like "oh god I had blocked that out."

I haven't seen Elyes in anything else, apart from clips on YouTube. I know he was on TV over here in Holby City a few years ago, but I don't watch that show. I've never watched GoT either.

I hope he gets a new role in something else that we can all enjoy. He seems to be a very versatile actor and hasn't been typecast in one particular type of role (...as a mummy! )

Elyes' latest project, as listed on IMDb, is another short film called Game Show Hurt for which he has acting, writing, producing and directing credits. What's really exciting, though, is it seems like he's gathered some old Scorpion friends together for this project because the film also stars Kevin Weisman, Glenn Keogh and Paul K Daniel! Can't wait to see what this one is all about.

Elyes posted some things while filming Game Show Hurt. Hopefully we'll get to see it. Short films can be hard to catch outside of film festivals.

It always amuses me when I come across an article like this one 10 Things You Didn’t Know about Elyes Gabel and find out that actually, I did know most if not all of them. Okay - I didn't know he was in a stage production of West Side Story. I'd love to have seen him in that! I know he can sing and act - but I haven't had much chance to see him dance other than S4.1.
